Hexagon-shaped Snowflake Quilted Christmas tree skirt

This tree skirt as shown in the first few photos is 45” across, with 6 sides, and cut off corners. It has a blue background with a beautiful white and silver snowflake in the center.   It is bordered by more snowflakes and a striped border.  It is machine quilted with gray thread. The edging and ribbon ties are white.

Several variations of this tree skirt are available.  I have 3 more blue background snowflakes that could have varying borders 0-10″ in width making the finished size of the largest tree skirt 53″.  I have 4 red background with gold snowflake panels and 2 white background with gray snowflakes.  Using coordinating fabrics, I can do borders of various widths to make the tree skirt the perfect size to fit your tree.

How do I know what size tree skirt to buy for my tree?  The important thing to know when deciding on the size of your tree skirt is the diameter of your tree at the bottom of the branches.  How wide is the tree?  Once you have measured the width of your tree, add 6″.  That is the approximate size you will want for the tree skirt to extend just a few inches beyond the tips of the branches.  Of course, if you want to cover more or less floor you can adjust the number for your own needs.
